Ready for a berry delightful adventure? In partnership with GLAZE Bakery, we’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new Farm-to-Cake experience! Your experience will begin at Bloom's organic farm, where you'll harvest the freshest strawberries straight from the vines - the star ingredient in your cake!

After your farm experience, head over to GLAZE Bakery’s artisanal kitchen, where you’ll transform your freshly picked strawberries into their Signature “JARDIN” Strawberry Shortcake. It’s the ultimate farm-to-table—or rather, farm-to-cake—experience!

At Blooom Strawberry Farm:

Dive into the secrets of strawberry cultivation as you embark on an audio-guided tour through our innovative farm. Discover the cutting-edge technologies that make our strawberries uniquely resilient and delicious. Choose from a variety of red, white, and pink strawberries—pick as many as you can fit in your basket! And yes, you get to take them all home.

At GLAZE IncuBaker Studio:

After the farm visit, you'll head to IncuBaker Studio for a lunch break and the next segment of the programme. You can pre-order your lunch box during registration or choose from GLAZE@IncuBaker café's à la carte selection of pastries and drinks on the day itself. The GLAZE team will take care of everything so you can relax and enjoy the day.

The second part of the experience is where the magic truly happens - you will learn to assemble your very own Strawberry Shortcake! The Pastry Chef will guide you through each step, from layering the cake and achieving the perfect cream texture to decorating it to your creative desire. You'll take home your uniquely designed cake along with some new cake decorating tips!

Whether you're a dessert enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable day out, this experience offers the perfect blend of discovery, fun, and a connection with nature.

  • What are the crops being grown inside the farm?
White Strawberries, Seasonal Red Strawberries, Everbearing Red Strawberries, Japanese Mustard Spinach (Komatsuna), Cherry Tomatoes
  • What is the temperature inside the farm?
The farm is cooled to about 26 - 28°C throughout the day. Our crops have been selectively bred to be more temperature resistant than their temperate growing counterparts, allowing us to grow them at warmer temperatures.
  • Are your crops GMO-free?
Yes! We grow 100% GMO-free, synthetic pesticide- and fertiliser-free crops. All our hydroponic inputs are natural products and SFA-approved. Our crops are a result of cross breeding various different variants of each crop to produce our current line of cultivated crops.
  • Why are there white spots on the leaves?
The white spots are a result of applying diatomaceous earth onto the leaves. Diatomaceous earth is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that has been crumbled into a fine white powder. It is actually derived from the fossilised remains of microalgae! It is 100% food safe and has been approved by the FDA as a natural pest control agent.
  • Why are there 2 types of growth lights being used?
The type of light used is dependent on the crop being cultivated. Leafy greens (such as the Komatsuna and cherry tomatoes being grown) generally perform better when grown under blue light, while strawberries grow better under whitish-red light.
